About Us

Thank you for visiting our blog! 

We're so excited to be a part of the online teaching world, as we are constantly inspired and amazed by the creativity of blogging teachers and families everywhere! 

We've been friends for more than 20 years now, and have been teaching together for over a decade. Although we have mainly taught fourth grade, we have also enjoyed teaching kindergarten and third grade as well. Although it's great to have a chance each year to   improve upon our teaching program, changing grades is such an exciting and invigorating challenge -- we've really had fun exploring new territory in other grades too! Like all you amazing teachers out there, we love the chance to mix it up a bit, and finding new, creative ways to engage kids. This blog is our chance to share what we're trying, collaborate with other online teachers, and get inspired ourselves.

We both have wonderful families that keep us happy and busy at home. 

Cory has two beautiful children, Addison and Brandon, and spends time as a girl scout troop leader and coaching her children's sports teams. Carol loves chasing after her two boys, Archie and Tobie, and trying to keep her daughter Millie from chasing after her big brothers. Going to the beach, getting outdoors, rock climbing, and spending time with family and friends are some of our favorite things to do.
